25k - Orapiu to Matiatia - start 8:30am

13k - Orapiu to Onetangi - start 8:30am

12k - Onetangi to Matiatia - start 9:30am

7k - Kennedy Point to Matiatia - start 10:30am

                          WHAT’S NEW FOR 2011?

1)   New start time for 12k run and walk from Onetangi
The start has been moved forward to 9:30am to minimise the bottle neck on Onetangi Road that was created when the 12k runners mingled with the bulk of the 25k contestants. This means that contestants from Auckland will have to catch the earlier 7am Fullers ferry to be able to get to the start line in good time.

2)   There are now THREE Ferries:
25k and 13k entrants catch the 6:45am Fun Run Ferry.
12k entrants catch the 7:00am scheduled Ferry.
7k entrants catch the 8:15am scheduled Ferry.

3)   Race Pack Pick-up:
Thursday 13th January – 2pm – 6pm at 2XU on Broadway, Newmarket.
Friday 14th January - Matiatia Wharf between 2pm and 7pm.
Saturday 15th January on the wharf before you board the ferry.
Onetangi and Kennedy Point - Up to 30mins before the start.
(NOTE: No Race Pack pick up at Orapiu).

4)   Souvenir T Shirts and Caps:
This year souvenir T shirts will be available in Blue but there are still a few white T shirts left in some of the larger sizes. White caps will once again be available – one size fits all. These can be pre-ordered and picked up with your race packs or bought after the event at the finish line.

5)   BNZ Sponsorship:
Once again the BNZ will be sponsoring a spot prize of 2500 Fly Buys Points – the equivalent of a return trip to Sydney - plus 1 in 10 entrants will receive a spot prize of 50 point Fly Buy Vouchers.
